Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels, Richmond Road, Bengaluru

Very nice, clean and comfortable hotel. Rooms are spacious, the bed is comfortable and so are the pillows. Breakfast is good. The Spa provides very good treatments. The gym is small, but the equipment is in very good condition. The pool is clean and very relaxing to sit by or in. The food in the restaurant is good..The wines are good, but a little too pricey. Without exception, all staff were very helpful, attentive and professional. A special thanks to Nisha at the Spa, Girish, Arachana and Vidya in the restaurant, and Prasenjit who made sure my room was spotless every day.

Room, service and food were excellent. Good sports room. The breakfast was great and in addition to Indian meals there were more than enough European style choices available. Last time I stood in the ITC Gardenia hotel nearby, which was almost triple the price of the Welcomhotel. The Welcomhotel is very similar and is in my opinion the much better choice in terms of value for money. A positive surprise was, that two laundry items per night were offered for free. When I booked my sray via bookinhg.com there was only very little extra cost for the half-board package, which I totally recommend to invest. Each room has an iron, which is great for business trips.

This was my second stay after almost two years. When I compare the two experiences,it is vastly evident that there has been a lot of improvement. Reception was flawless and efficient with friendly and smiling faces under the guidance of Mgr Mr Kush. His team of dedicated, hard working and motivated members made us feel honoured. Ms Naaz took us to our room and briefed us about the property. The F&B section has also shown improvement, be it South Indian cousine under chef Kanthaswamy or hard working motivated Vidya and Archna. F&B Mgr Mr Ranjith manages dining area proficiently. House keeping staff members are always available even at odd hours to meet the requirements. Their untiring dedication and hard work is praiseworthy. We liked the friendly staff both at the reception and at the café where breakfast was served. We enjoyed too the spa facilities and its professional staff. The spa and swimming pool are small but clean and well equipped. My husband and I enjoyed the massage and facial treatment we took. Breakfast was delicious with a rich buffet and freshly cooked dosa, omelette and fruits. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Room: Large, clean, quiet and comfortable Location: Good, you can safely walk around the area. A few places to get dinner nearby and you can walk to do sightseeing easily. Staff: Brilliant, very friendly Breakfast: Massive selection and very nice, however limited cold drinks (more juices would have been nice) Aircon and Wifi: Both great Pool: Small but nice. It wasn't heated but didn't bother us as we are use to cold water swimming. Price: This place is not cheap, what it offers is as expected for the money but not exceptional.
